Goliad tennis players heading to state competition

For the first time since 2019, Goliad will be represented at the 3A State Tennis Tournament.

The mixed duo of Hunter Williams, a senior, and Madison Williams, a freshman, secured second place and advanced to the 3A State Tournament.

The girls’ doubles team of Lila Hamilton and Gabriela Sertuche, both juniors, finished third and are state alternates.

Karolynn Youngblood, a freshman, finished fourth place in girls’ singles, capping a fantastic run.
