Offices will be closed to attend training on Wednesday, August 13 & August 20th, 8:00 am-10:30 am

NEW Student Registration

Thursday, August 7, 2014 / 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Students who were not enrolled or withdrew from Goliad ISD in the prior school year and plan to attend GISD for the 2014-2015 school year MUST register on Thursday, August 7th.
Students should be accompanied by their LEGAL guardian for enrollment.
Things to bring:
Proof of Residency in Goliad County or Approved Transfer Paperwork
Parent/Guardian Photo Identification
Student Birth Certificate or other legal proof of ID and age
Social Security Card or State ID
Child's Current Immunizations Records
School Records from the school most recently attended by student. (report card; transcript; test scores, documentation for special programs)

Substitute Training

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER TRAINING SCHEDULED

Goliad ISD Substitute Teacher Training is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, 2014, 9 a.m. – Noon, in the Goliad ISD Board Room, located at 161 N. Welch St.

All current Substitutes and all new applicants, with the exception of certified teachers, must attend the training to be active on the Substitute list.   Applicants must possess a high school diploma and are required to be fingerprinted before being approved.  Please contact Minnie Perez at (361) 645-3259 ext. 5106 to pre-register.




This year's tax levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures does not exceed last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
