Out of County Residence

Attention Parents & Students who do not live in Goliad County: As per the Texas Education Agency laws, students must apply for transfer to attend school outside of the school district where they live. Transfers are approved for one school year at a time and students must reapply each school year. The "2015-2016 Student Transfer" application and information can be downloaded at www.goliadisd.org/new-student or by contacting the Superintendent's office at 361-645-3259 x5105. Thank you.

School Safety System

Student safety is a priority at GISD. Beginning this school year anyone entering one of our campus buildings must enter through the main office. If you plan to go into the building to a classroom, nurse, cafeteria, etc. you MUST have your driver's license. Your driver's license will be scanned through our new safety measure device called Raptor. Upon approval from the Raptor system, you will be issued a name tag and can proceed to take care of your school business in the building. When exiting the building, you will place your signature on our sign out form.  While we understand that this will take some time to get accustomed to, we are very excited to have the Raptor system as an additional form of safety to provide to our students. If you have concerns or questions, please call your child's campus. Thank you
