Goliad High School selected Gigi Ousley and Tammy Niemeyer as their Difference Makers for the month of November.

A Difference Maker is a staff or teacher who goes above and beyond to make a difference at their school and in the lives of the students.

Ousley, a teacher at GHS, was named the November Difference Maker by employee vote.

“Gigi is always organizing the staff luncheons making sure everything is set up and nicely decorated, then cleaning up afterwards,” one employee wrote in a nomination letter. “She stays busy helping the students and is the head of several organizations.”

“Gigi is always willing to help you no matter what the situation is — whether it’s school or personal,” another person wrote. “She cares about the students and she does a wonderful job with all the faculty luncheons.”

Niemeyer, staff member at GHS, was named the other November Difference Maker by employee vote.

“She is always willing to help when asked if she is available and is very knowledgeable with her job,” one person wrote in a nomination letter. “A woman with multiple hats as well as drive to step in when needed in various positions.”

“Tammy is always friendly and helpful and goes above and beyond for both students and staff,” another person wrote.
