Goliad ISD and each campus are rated for academic accountability on an annual basis by the state. The ratings are based on student performance on standardized tests (STAAR), attendance, college and career readiness, and graduation rates. Each rating is designed to measure academics in three areas: student achievement, student progress, and the school’s/district’s ability to close achievement gaps among various groups of students.
At Goliad ISD, we believe we prepare our students for more than high performance on standardized tests which is why we are committed to providing a curriculum rich in dual credit classes, electives, and vocational or trade-related certifications.
