5th Grade Social Studies

Monday

    Students will continue working on their poster about the Civil War.

Tuesday

     CSSCOPE Unit 10, Lesson 1 "America Rebuilds"

 Purpose:  To help students understand the effects of the Civil war & Reconstruction.

      We will be looking at and discussing Lincoln's 2nd Inagural speech, reconstruction plans, and a worksheet to reenforce thes concepts.

Wednesday

     STARR SCIENCE TEST

Thursday

    Students will be paired up and will chart their findings using a graphic organizer.  They will then analyze reconstruction pictures.

 

Friday

   The students will work with the same partner & read, discuss, & analyze a hand-out on challenges & triumphs of immigrants in America.
