All Students Enrolling in The Goliad Independet School District need to bring the following items to register:
  
   
  Proof of Residency (utility bill, tax records, etc.)     
  Parent' Drivers License (or other form of identification)  
  Student Birth Certificate (or other proof of identification and age)  
  Student Social Security Card or State ID  
  Student Drivers License (if applicable)  
  Student's Immunization Records  
  Current Report Card / Transcript (if applicable)  
  Standardized Testing Scores (TPRI, TAKS, STAAR, etc.)  
  Any other documentation necessary in the placement of your child in any special programs (Gifted & Talented; Special Ed; ESL; etc.)  
         

Application for Head Start (2012-2013):
The Goliad Head Start provides children with a balanced educational experience, including language and literacy, math, science, social studies, technology, and creative arts. We focus on helping children to develop a respect for themselves and others, and on learning to socialize, make choices, exercise problem-solving skills, and develop an appreciation for differences.

12-2013 Kinder / Pre-K / Headstart Immunization Chart:
In Order for students to enroll in Pre-Kindergarten/Headstart and Kindergarten program the Texas Department of State Health Services requires each student to have the Immunization listed below with proof of receiving their immunization. A copy must be furnished to the school nurse BEFORE the first day of school.

Out of County Resident: 
 New Students as Transfers for the current school year are NOT being accepted. (4/1/2013)

Goliad ISD does accept transfer students based upon the criteria set forth in the Goliad ISD Policy (FDA –Legal & Local).  The Goliad administration does not anticipate a tuition charge for 2012-2013. However, the Board of Trustees reviews tuition fees for transfer students before the start of each new school year.

Transfer packets may be picked up at the Administration Office at 161 N. Welch St.; downloaded from our website at www.goliadisd.org; or to request a packet via regular postal mail, please call 361-645-3259 x105.

The transfer application, along with all required documentation must be submitted to the Goliad I. S. D. either by mail or hand delivered to:

Applications received by email or fax will not be accepted.

All applications and information will be reviewed by designated personnel.  Parents will be contacted to set up a time for an interview.  A final decision will then be made by the campus principal and the district superintendent.  Parents will be notified regarding the decision to accept or deny the transfer.

Goliad County Resident: 
   
 
2012-2013 Registration for students living in Goliad County who are currently not enrolled at Goliad ISD will begin August 7, 2012.

You may download and complete the campus registration form. Bring completed registration form along with required information (above) to enroll at Goliad ISD.  Students need to be accompanied by a legal guardian to enroll.


(NOTE: Students enrolled at GISD on May 31st of the 2011-2012 school year do not need to re-enroll for the 2012-2013 school year.)   
         
If you are currently living in Goliad County and are not enrolled at Goliad ISD you will need to contact the appropriate campus to set up an appointment to complete registration paper work and enroll in classes.
